English Moon is the marketing agency for marketing agencies. As marketing and design shops, we often find ourselves delivering top-notch work for our various clients, but spending little-to no time on our own marketing, slapping something together to get by, but wishing we could spend the time we need to on ourselves.

English Moon specializes in marketing specifically for firms that work in the marketing field. With extensive experience working both for internal agency marketing departments as well as delivering client-facing marketing work, we have the unique ability to be able to understand your audience and your business in ways traditional marketing and PR firms simply cannot.

English Moon is operated out of Phoenix, Arizona, and, temporarily, out of Nashville, TN.

Kim Higdon has a severe addiction to the written word, especially when it’s combined with marketing. Having worked in various agency environments over the course of her career doing marketing for both the agencies themselves, as well as for clients, she has a unique level of experience and perspective not offered by many others. Along with this experience, she’s also run her own freelance copywriting business for nearly 4 years and is the founder and President of Commpose, an organization dedicated to the field of copywriting.

What’s with the name?

The name was inspired by the Moon type writing system which caters to the blind. Instead of dots, it uses embossed symbols, making it easier to read for people who may not always have been blind. Read more about this interesting system of understanding.
